EPPAD Pharmaceuticals is a prominent investment arm of Ethio-American pharmaceutical experts and other interested individuals who share a common purpose of developing, manufacturing,and distributing quality-assured,affordable generic medicines for Ethiopian market.It is also in the portfolio of the business to build pioneering import and distribution business to improve access to essential and quality-assured medicines that are affordable and make a meaningful difference to health of the public.
Our Mission
is to improve access to affordable, quality pharmaceutical products; to contribute to the promotion of public health by manufacturing; and distribution of drugs that meet GMP standards and to create an import/export business with commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Our Vision
is to become the leading generic/biosimilar drug manufacturing plant with a long-term benefit to Ethiopia and sub-Saharan market using US pharmaceutical technologies as the backbone.

Our Team
The founding members of the company have a combined 160-person-years of experience (both in the US and internationally) in pharmaceutical manufacturing, research and development, management, investment/business, academia, government agencies, supply chain, and public health. The project founders’ have deep knowledge of Ethiopia’s business and investment environment.
